Planning permission has been secured for a new dwelling within the Green Belt to the South of Bristol. The house is located within the large grounds of an existing dwelling.
BBA was able to overcome strict development restrictions within the statutory Green Belt by first proving the existing house had been lawfully subdivided into two dwellings thus establishing the principal of two dwellings on the site. Following this, a full planning application was submitted which proposed the re-amalgamation of the existing house into a single dwelling and the demolition of existing outbuildings and a garage to provide the volume for the new dwelling. BBA was able to meet our client’s brief and provide a modern spacious 4-bedroom dwelling that maximised floorspace from the available volume of outbuildings.
