Mortimer House

BBA have had the privilege of working on this fascinating and spectacular Grade II* listed Georgian mansion house, in Clifton since 2016.

BBA obtained Change of Use (from care home to office), alongside Planning & Listed Building consent, to restore, repair and rejuvenate the building back to its former glory. The building’s history has been recorded for future generations, including the basement World War II bunkers. New facilities have been incorporated within the existing building to future proof the building; including high-end technology and improving access for all.

Repairs to the ornate cornicing, original woodwork, staircase, flooring and stained glass, were carefully considered and detailed. Finally co-ordination between BBA, the interior designer and the landscape architects, ensured that the building was finished to an exacting standard. This is an exemplary office space within a magnificent Georgian building, that the client are proud to showcase.
