Regeneration of Grade II listed derelict spaces into contemporary homes.

As part of a series of regeneration projects, 9 & 10 Wellington Buildings are two Grade II listed properties, that were in need of major refurbishment. These empty residential spaces had been derelict for years with significant damage.

Each of the regeneration projects required individual Conservation Appraisal and careful technical design. We liaised directly with the Project Manager to establish the initial brief, scope and budget for the scheme.

Once established, our Historic Building Specialist & architectural team used their understanding of repair and maintenance of listed buildings, alongside technical detailing and design.

Listed building approval was obtained for the refurbishment works and detailed tender drawings created. The works to the externals ensured that the listed structures were restored, and internals were finished to a high specification, enhancing original features including, exposed timber beams and bath stone fireplace.
